BRANDING

It's the dawning of a NEW DAY at George Washington Carver Academy!

Supt. Sylvia Brown and the GWCA Board recently underwent a complete rebranding process for our beloved school. We are proud to announce that we have completed the process. Now, I'm sure you have seen some of the work through assets that have gone public but allow us to officially roll out the NEW branding and style overview for George Washington Carver Academy.

The most prominent callout that we want to highlight is the New Mascot. The mascot for GWCA will no longer be the Tigers. We will now be the Lions. The vision behind this change came from our FEARLESS Leader, Supt. Sylvia Brown led the push by highlighting Carver as "The Pride of The Park!" When a pack of LIONS travels, they are called a "Pride," thus the reason behind the mascot shift from Tigers to Lions.

Throughout the summer, updates at the building will reflect the new branding that will drive the point home of WHO WE ARE and WHAT WE STAND FOR!

If you would like to review the FULL BRAND GUIDE Booklet, you can read it and download it below!

We hope you are excited about this refresh as we were creating it. We can't wait to hear you and your scholars ROAR this FALL.
